Intellectual property (IP) expert,  who lends his expertise to a  wide range of countries and  organisations. He has worked in  over 20 countries. He  successfully implemented  projects supported by regional  and international organisations  including the European Union,  UNDP, UNECA, the World Bank  and the World Intellectual  Property Organisation He  drafted the national IP policies,  laws, and development plans of  a number of African countries. He executed projects that  demonstrated the significance  of the IP system in supporting  the realisation of national  development goals, meeting the  needs of small business  enterprises and farmers, and  defeating the erroneous  perception that protection of  intellectual property is not in the  interest of developing countries.  He served as a resource person  and made presentations at  national, regional and  international conferences and  workshops organised in over 40  countries. He also designed and  implemented capacity building  programs and offered IP  training in several countries.
